Yeah I hear ya man... I would add those 2700Ks. As I understand it if you only can have one type of bulb the 27s are better?? But I really think for me anyway, the ones I did with a little of both spectrum's did way better. When using cfls more little ones may actually be better, because you can...
Hi Sara. I ordered 1 200 by 3 watt this time off of your web site () I had ordered an old style 100 by 3 before off ebay. I like it enough to experiment more here!!!
Nice to meet ya man... okay here is my experience. Up until this last grow I was using CFLs to veg. then switching to an hps to bloom, but I did finish one plant in a 2' by 3' ft closet under just 2700k cfls it did pretty good. Use 2700k color cfls for your blooming stage or at least a mix of...
Okay.... I hope I don't regret this... I ordered another larger old style panel to experiment with. Good luck so far with smaller one I bought before. I didn't buy that one on the mars site though. This one I ordered here.
Thank you Sara I did in fact have a PH issue ... way too low... like 5.6 or so... fixed now!! acting better here. Curled up a ot of leaves before I figured out not to check the PH too close to my motors here. They made my readings wrong.
I haven't personally had this happen and I am very new to the mars lights but it sounds like some sort of heat or light stress??? maybe a little calmag wouldn't hurt although in my setup I wasn't able to add much cal-magic without making the leaves nitrogen claw. I have bleached my leaves by...
Been using my 100 by 3 for two weeks now. it takes a little while to get used to. Everything appears darker than the plant sees it but I notice that compared to my CFL only grows, the penetration is better. I do notice I need to switch to a normal cfl to examine the plants for pests, as its...
I personally used the mars overhead and supplemented with cfls warm or cool per plant stage . If I could afford the crees I wouldn't have bought as I did. The Crees are also made overseas anyway.
Go by the wattage it draws from the wall to make your choice. Not the (theoretical) ratting of 300 watts. I vegged in a 2' by 3' ( even though the coverage isn't optimal. the power draw listing on the data plate of my setup is 180 watts deduct about 20 watts for the fans and such your down to...
