    Ever use paint to coat res?

    Rather than paint you might want to do this instead.. Wrap the container in wall insulation (the kind with a paper backing. Use Reflective metal tape (I think its for ducts or something) wap the whole insulated container in the reflective tape..it will hold the insulation in place and reflect...

    Overgrow the planet! I remember when I was a kid the school had us put our address and phone number on a card. We put the card inside a helium balloon and released it. a few weeks latter calls were comming in from all over the world (or at least our continent) from people who found our balloon...

    So if he removed the non medical roommates? or replaced them with Med card roomies, how much would that help his situation.. I ask because I am looking for a room to rent in Denver, and I plan to grow my 6. So somewhat in same situation as the OP.
