Looking for input on a strain

Check out some of the conversations on YouTube, by the head of the Trichome Institute. I just got his kit and manuals in the mail, and I'll be studying it this weekend. I'm glad the cannabis conversation is moving away from the pop culture references that most of us either grew up with, or...

Drying curing underwater - Does it work?

I just purchased this - my second one - on Tuesday, and it'll arrive today. All I can say is I've learned my lesson when it comes to growing. Unless I have a village - or one other person - to help me harvest and cure, I will not plant more than 2 seeds at any one time (I said this before, so I...

Drying curing underwater - Does it work?

Thanks for the info, Cmoon. I am using the RO water based on your post, and rinsing twice a day. The smell on the first day...omygod...bad. Plus, I have so much weed (Is that even possible?), that my whole day is spent cutting and trimming before water curing. How long does it take to dry? What...

Looking for input on a strain

Funny you should say this, because my other three girls have distinct fruity smells, and one is more of a grape smell than the other two, which is clearly bubblegum-like. I also signed up for the Trichome Institute course, and I'm really excited about it! Imagine being able to not only detect a...

Looking for input on a strain

I'm with you on that, Doc - I don't mind if Tilapia absorbs flavor, but there's something very odd about people who enjoy eating a block of something used to grout my bathroom tiles. Yuck!:)

Looking for input on a strain

Definitely gonna work with it, because hubby loves the 'couch-lock' - but I prefer the more creative, sativa high (I write for a living). So, I'll water cure it, then dry cure it with a nicer smelling bud Maybe it'll act like Tofu and absorb some good ole blueberry. :)

Looking for input on a strain

Hey Dwight, I do think CKS is selling this as "Sour Jack," based on what I've researched so far. It acted like an Auto, and I switched off to 12/12 after a 5 weeks in 24/7. There are the other two plants I'll be harvesting this next weekend, and I think their smell masked the ones I'm trimming...

Looking for input on a strain

I ordered Candy Cane seeds from CKS. I'm harvesting the first of four, and this is NOT Candy Cane. I thought I was overwhelmed from trimming since 8am, but this smell confused me so much, I went to the search engine and typed, "my weed smells like Pine Sol." It took me to "Purple Star Dawg." I...

Drying curing underwater - Does it work?

Head on over to YouTube. I'm about ready to get started, as soon as I finish trimming my Candy Cane~

Drying curing underwater - Does it work?

Getting ready for harvest and water cure with the first two of four Candy Canes. What method are you guys using? You know there are a few and one from Doc Dank, who has an interesting tweak of his method on YouTube I've pretty much decided on the 7 day, even though I'm indoors, have been...

Discuss Crop King Seeds Germination and Growing

I purchased Candy Cane -AF and Afghani regular. Unfortunately, all of my Afghani 'maled' on me, and CKS was nice enough to compensate for it (I'll be contacting them today). I'm at the harvest stage (Two are in darkness, the other will go in on the weekend), and here's my review on the Candy...

What strains are we growing this year?

I'm still researching , but I want to get ahold of the highest Sativa available and then work myself to the other end of the spectrum by the end of the year. Any suggestions? :)

1st CoCo Coir Grow - So Far, So Good

Do tell!! What kind of difference? Everything I've read has pushed for mixing the Coco, so I went with the perlite, but I'm thinking the gravel helps with drainage, but also keeps the gnats back, too? I haven't had any bug problems, but I may go and get some aquarium gravel just in case. CoCoMo

1st CoCo Coir Grow - So Far, So Good

Thanks for the input, and it's much appreciated! I've managed to find a few other discussions that are a little more active and open to Coco newbies, so I've been getting my fill of attention and advise. Doesn't using 100% Coco pose its own problems? Anyway, I'll probably be moving on next week...
