I'm experimenting with "Low-Life Hybrids" Lowryder x AK-47 autoflowering strain for my next grow. Planning on giving a 20/4 light regime from seed to harvest for 10 weeks per breeder instructions. Just wondering which lamp would be best in my HPS fixture, and HPS lamp or Metal Halide?

So my wife and I are throwing a dinner party with 7 of our best friends, 9 of us total. We'll be tokin' all nite, in addition to the italian feast I'm cookin up! We're all in our mid-late twenties and all outgoing. Any good game ideas (420 related or not) for after dinner? :passitleft:

No problem - I'll even give you a rep point to get you started! But generally, the size of pot can stunt growth if the roots don't have the room, and you'll be shocked to see the root system in a 3-gallon pot when you remove the dirt. I learned the hard way and had to replant halfway...

Not exactly sure, but switched to 12/12 at about a foot or so, and they finished at almost 3 feet.

I used 3 gallon wastebaskets w/ drainage holes and my plants were about 3 feet - some people use 3 gallon cat litter containers or 5 gallon buckets if they're going a little bigger.

Not as much as the WW - at this height, 22 grams or so per plant. It's crazy you're from FL, cuz when some of my friends sampled my MWS, they were like, "Holy shit - this tastes like the weed we used to get in Florida!"

Oh yeah, and DEFINITELY put into it's own new pot as soon as possible (so the roots don't tangle), and consider spending a few dollars to replace the dirt. The only reason I say that is I hate to see you haul these plants in and out every day to see them not make it to the end b/c of some used...

You definitely want to make sure they don't get too cold, but just realize that getting closer to 12 hours of light will cause flowering. At least keep them by a sunny window or even under an old desklamp with a flourescent bulb. The majority of indoor growers give their plants 18 hours before...

Well, since we're not sure of the strain there's no way to tell how big they can really get, but you can control that. For now I would put them out there from sunrise to sunset to get as much light as possible. Then when they are 1/3 to 1/2 the height of how tall you want them, put them out...

And I almost forgot the most important thing. Research & use the Grow Room forums, and definitely set up a grow journal. The help & tips you'll get from the members you won't find in any book.

Just got done with my first grow, and soil is definitely easier to start with, since it's more forgiving to beginner mistakes by allowing time to fix them. Before making a list of supplies, it helped to draw out the layout I wanted of the grow area. Then figure out everything I would need...
