but after i triggered the 12/12 and i see some sign of preflowering, do I leave them on 12/12 or i can increase the light again after some sign of preflower?
Also, how can I speed up flowering without hurting yields?

3 questions
1) I have a problem, I have an auto 70 days long from germination to today, and NO SIGN of PISTIL..NOTHING...it's an auto fem. WHAT SHOULD I DO lol...i changed the light ration to 20/4, i was on 24/24. It starting to grow pretty tall now, it gain about one inch everyday...
Yep, that's what i read too. Also, it's better to read the manufacturer instruction. They always recommend a certain distance from your plants which vary of course, by the strength of your unit. 26 inch is the same information i got from my manufacturer, so yah, 24 inch for seedling is a good guess.
Also, in comparison with the others, it's the only one that's seem to ''stretch'' for light. It might be a genetic trait!!...

I check the specs of your Mars II 400w. It's pretty comparable with the one i bought. Difference i have maybe in term of watts, like probably 30 watts difference. :)
But yah, Mars II 400 seems to be a good starter model!!!
