Wow, great questions here. I'm learning a lot and I'm not sure all of them have been answered. I have to say that Advanced Nutrients has really great stuff, but it is really strong. You were off to a good start with the lower dosage at first. I think it just depends on the strain...

I didn't realize that Purple Max didn't need as much nutes as other strains. Totally good to know. Or is it just that this grower needs just fewer nutes in general? Right now, I'm using: AN Grow-Bloom-Micro Big Bud Bud Candy Voodoo Juice I'm wondering if I have too many nutes too...

That sounds like a good plan. Sometimes the nutes just burn, no matter what you do. Ah, the fun of growing, huh? It's happened to me before too, even when I've started with less nutes than I should have. :peacetwo: Good luck man!

Yeah, might want to get the lighting you need as quickly as possible. You don't want to be using stuff that is going to harm your plants. Have you checked out Craigslist and Ebay for cheaper deals? You can probably score some great lights for just a little bit of money, until you can buy...
