i use cold temps (no lower than 60) and purple maxx with excellent results but in final 2week cuz these "finishers" are also stressers so easy does it my friend or she will spit bananas on ya 4sho! :goodluck:
U must "bond" the neutral to the panel w tha screw or ur neutral has path to dissapate unbalanced currents...and I AM an electrican!! And mad props mr.bill on ur diy homeowner skills!!....and always hire pros 4 pullin meters its 125amps @ 220volts at themetersockets...0.5 amps will kill u
iagree w maer...and 2 add my 2cents :). When u use the paper towel method ushould only let the seeds crack and avoid havin the taproot reach the towel...highly traumatic 2 fine roots hairs when moved or removed from towel
^i also agree w Franklin tha Nitrogen will slow root production in cuttings...yellowin and browning of leaves is showin its using its stored nutes 2 make roots :)
I do light feedings w everywaterin but every 7 to 9 days ill water w distilled h20 for 2 waterings... kind of a "flush". And my "lightfeeding" is pretty lite nomore tha 2ml per gal of any given nute at a time... Hope this helps
I also use rootpots and any kind of tray/ dish underhelps w runoff...u want atleast 10%runoff w each watering....iuse 2gal rootpots w 10" dishes underneth filled w bonticare "READY2GRO" moisture formula w some minor additions...and I leave my runoff if its 1/4inch or less in trays...hope this helps
I also have just a soilessgrow(botanticare ready-gro moisture mix) using ageold nutes and root pots. And am very impressed so far...might strayaway from hydro if this trend continues
UPDATE: so I've been addin 0.5mL per gal per day and the girls r lovin it!! Had 2 move the light each morning since I've started addin it!!
And they have been drinkin more which shows me tha they r suckin it up like a fat kid on a cupcake!!
thank 4 the reply JJ!! yea ive seen those green pads at my hydro store but never heard of CalCarb...that is y i freakin love this site!!so many friendly ppl and even friendlier advice!!:peacetwo:
