They looking great man keep doing what your doing! I got the same thermometer btw.. :thumb: You should start a journal if you didn't already. It is really fun to go back and see what you grew years ago.
Agreed!
I was thinking Nitrogen deficiency at first look too, I just dont want him to dump a bunch of extra nutes in.
The leaf tips look like they are curling down which could be from over watering, or just them dying.. but it reminded me we dont know..
Feeding schedule?? What ferts, how...
Ya give them another week or two. And if they really don't want to ripen up toss them in a dark closet with no light for 3 days and that should help them ripen up more.
Looked like nitrogen deficiency at first, but looking at how dark green the other leaves are with the slightly burnt tips it could be nute locked caused by over feeding. AS long as the new growth is fine and the yellowing doesn't keep spreading up the plant then you should be good.
Those LEDs are very cool lights and should be kept as close to the plant as possible, but your plant doesn't look like it is stretching for light so that is good. It looks very nice and you can start flowering any time. Just remember the longer you let it veg the more you will get. And if you...
Re: butter...a quick reply would be the best for me..i am in progress
Next time you make BHO use triple refined butane, it works WAYYYY better, and u get a lot more oil.
Yes smart pots air prune when the roots grow through the fabric, I have been using them for many years with great luck. The roots do still wrap around and fill up the soil like TheCelt said, but i have used 3 gallon pots from veg to harvest with out any issues. I prefer 5 gallon pots personally...
78 degrees F is perfect for growing, I would not suggest any hotter. And the going colder then 78 should ripen them up faster since the plant will realize winter is coming and try and reproduce as quickly as possible, BUT if the temp is to cold it can stunt plant growth. 78 degrees is not cold...
The section you are budding needs ABSOLUTE darkness or else the plant may get stressed and turn hermie. You can grow in same room as long as there is no light leaks.
Go to radioshack and buy one of those Radio Shack's 60X -100X hand held microscopes with the light built-in. Take a look and see if your trichomes are mostly all cloudy and/or amber. Judging by the hairs is not an accurate way of deciding when to harvest, but it is better then nothing if you...
I usually start them under cfls until they get about 4 sets of real leaves on them, then toss them under the MH or HPS. Also coco make sure you are watering daily since it is more of a hydroponics setup then soil. Good luck.
I had a plant hermie late in flowering and she was still very good smoke. dont lose any sleep over this, i also agree with roadlizard, plain water for 3 weeks wouldnt cause it, alot of people water with just plain water for a week or 2 before harvest. It is usually caused by stress, usually...
I love my house because i have a crazy amount of lady bugs flying around all over the place in every room, I dont know how they get in here but they can sure make themselves at home!
