Since that guy is both pissed about this thread as well as knowledge being shared, here is what I've found.
NaCl is a conversion factor based on Sodium Chloride (regular table salt.). The conversion factor range is 0.47 to 0.5.
The "EC-to-TDS Conversion Factor: NaCl (avg. 0.5) " from my meter...
You wrote an awful lot of nonsense just now and still didn't manage to answer an incredibly simple question regarding conversions and nothing more.
You learned what you have with the help of people like me who are curious to learn and not just do what they are told works along with some...
If you think the question is meaningless, it is an issue with your inability to figure out a reason for asking it.
If you grow the same strain 100 times and have your process down with notes galore, but decide to switch meters, what good were those notes?
Why would anyone write anything down...
I'm having trouble understanding the conversion.
I have an HM Digital meter from Amazon and their website says "EC-to-TDS Conversion Factor: NaCl (avg. 0.5)" but I am unsure how to compare it to the chart that Tulip posted.
I don't think I really need it as long as I keep using the same meter...
To clarify, the Lucas formula using GH Flora Micro/Bloom at 8/16 ratio results in an N-P-K-Mg ratio of 40-80-72-24 % volume while Maxibloom using 7g per gallon results in 35-105-98-24.5 %. Very close considering both the cost difference as well as the simplicity.
However, I want to hear more...
I'm just finishing my first grow in coco. I didn't enjoy the process or the results very much. I want to be able to more accurately monitor and control PPM and water uptake, so I want to move over to DWC.
However, I also like the concept of keeping it simple. I read that GH MaxiBloom is...
Thanks for the quick reply!
By reversing, do you mean using colloidal silver (or another method) to prevent the signal for it to grow female flowers and for it to grow pollen sacs instead or is there another thing that "reversing" refers to?
I was planning on growing all 4 remaining beans...
Hello,
I am trying to find the quickest route to breeding autoflowers to try and simulate the original parent beans. There is quite a lot of information about trait breeding, but they usually involve a step along the lines of "breed back to original parent" which I don't believe is possible on...
