no mate dont worry about your pH so much - i know people drone on about it being bang on. that is more true in pure mineral hydro growing...
do you have any nutes? make sure you use half the concentration recommended on the back of the bottle - thats a rule of thumb if you dont own an EC...
dont worry about pH so much you can put 5-7 pH into your growing medium it will always come out at 6.5 pH this is because coir and husk have their own pH already 6-7.
make sure you use enough nutes - .8 - 1.0 on your ec stick get a blu lab.
in case you are have disease infestation, take...
what EC level are your plants on there? its coco coir w/chip as far as i can see?
they are showing signs of nitrogen, iron and mag-cal deficiency.
looks like you need to increase/decrease your EC to .08 - 1.00 that size plant will have enough root mass to take it in
any help?
sure mate how do i locate your journal? i am new to this but will be willing to help as ive had so many problems myself haha - its about learning from them though
that's good going mate, that's at least a 4/5oz plant that hard to say though nothing to scale it with - going to be hard to control temps this summer innit. some people put ice cubes in the tanks, but they don't last long!
the problem is you can't risk renting a place and getting root rot...
always worried with the root rot though, thats why i mentioned my pal using ozone to kill pythium, but you have to grow in a completely mineral environment like that, as in no organic additives, purely mineral.
nft is old fashioned i agree with u there mate - whats the best way to do dwc? do u...
agreed mate... too much oxygen is, to use a pharmaceutical term... toxic to the human body, none the less in a concentration of 20% of total air volume it is life-giving.
i also wouldn't breathe ozone for it's so called health benefits, just for outside the growing space for protecting the...
fair play
that's another thing mate - completely agree - always need to have at least a rhino filter or natural air filters, they are properly made...
ive had cheap ones before where you can physically shake the carbon inside - not good
only use branded ones from now on.
still definitely...
i'll deffo have a read of that mate - cheers
i have read something similar though ages ago.. it said the effects are reversible. ozone therapy obviously with controlled amounts of ozone..
anyways, glad you agree its good for getting rid of stray odours!
which club do you fight at m8? actually either cultivator or gigabane? im based in northwest, always looking for more sparring...
fair enough everyone has their own opinion, i just know that if you use ozone outside your tent or on landing or in loft space, you are minimizing detection...
has anyone tried using ozone generators?
we lost a crop 4 years ago, started using ozone to help stray smells... works a treat for smells, literally smashed them to bits, end up with a fresh smelling house!
but has anyone used it for PM or thrips?
completely agree mate - a mid range or good carbon filter is a must if you want to be the one doing the cropping!! had bad experiences myself with cheap filters - crop lost to cut a long story short.
we started using ozone generators to help with odour control - they are the best investment...
