Hey all!
How are people measuring large volumes of water?
I'm going to set up a 2' x 4' flood table and I want to use a 27 gallon tote for the reservoir.
I currently measure out each gallon for my kratky lettuce but that will be too cumbersome for a water change.
Is a dip stick or line drawn...
That's good to know.
I actually just bought an AC to convert into a glycol chiller for beer brewing and possibly laser cutting, so it'd be easy to hook up the reservoir.
I'm going to table this setup for now. I want to get some things growing and established with the systems I know before I...
The reservoir -
7 gallon tote (Home Depot)
4 disc ultrasonic mist maker (house of hydro)
Three holes cut into lid. Two for the fog and one for the blower.
The fog box -
7 gallon tote
Pvc pipe and elbow
Grommet
5015 12v fan
3D printed adapter
Electrical tape
The box has three identical holes...
It's also a bit more expensive to buy in than the alternatives. And like NFT I'm concerned about power outages which are a thing where I live.
I'm not growing for business, so I don't think it'll matter much if my basil makes 5g or 8g of leaves.
I'm entertained by the challenge, but I have a...
Thank you so much for your detailed build!
I know it's been a while on this thread, but I've just starting to reinvestigate high pressure aeroponics.
How's the system holding up?
I just skimmed your build, did you use an accumulator? I don't think I saw one....?
I have entertained NFT, but I'm concerned about a root blockage and flooding the table. My grow area is inside and I would need to build a box along the perimeter tall enough to catch the entire volume of the reservoir.
I like the cloning box idea...but I've heard horror stories about the...
Hello all!
I've been a long time reader on the forums but I've always found answers to my questions without the need to ask further, but now I'm stuck in a good way. I'm going to upgrade my grow area from 18"x24" to 2'x4'.
I grow lettuce and culinary herbs indoors during the winter and I...
