I have a plant thats about 14 inchs tall with about 10 brachs comeing off with a very thick stem i was wondering if it is a good idea to move into flowering after about 5 weeks of veg

Will my cutting grow roots in soil and about how long will it take do u have to put the cutting in water and wait for roots first or will they grow in soil

any other tips for how long it might take will it grow roots in the soil or u have to put it in water first
