Smog ridden beauties - A question regarding cleaning plants while still growing

Hey Muncho1. I'm not trying to build a smog proof solution. Just wondering what's best for the plants and smoke now that they're covered with the stuff. Thanks for the help.

Smog ridden beauties - A question regarding cleaning plants while still growing

Hey TheCelt, I'll wait 'till the smog is gone (hopefully by next week.) then wash the leaves down (In the hope the plant doesn't "ingest" too much of the pollutants) After harvest I'll go for a good bud wash.

Smog ridden beauties - A question regarding cleaning plants while still growing

Since they've started flowering (and are growing quickly) - I was wondering if I should just wash the leaves (with water with a drop of eco detergent). Thanks for the reply. I'll probably do both. Wash leaves now (once this smog goes - still going on....it's been days) and Wash buds at end.

Smog ridden beauties - A question regarding cleaning plants while still growing

Hi all. We've been having a really heavy smog problem. The smog isn't the type you'd find in LA. The smog is probably mainly fine dust. It's the third or fourth day. It's very heavy. Like a heavy fog all day (can barely see the sun or the hills around my house). I assume it's full of all...

Can ACT be raising the risk for people with low immunity?

Hey Bobrown14 :) Missed your post, somehow wasn't notified. It was a funny brew. I was going to use it after 24-36 hours but due to different circumstances (family, mostly). Couldn't - as it's hot here and kept on missing the foliar feed times in the morning (must be early -everything is...

Can ACT be raising the risk for people with low immunity?

Hey all. My first started thread and my first aerated compost tea :circle-of-love: I'm working with what I've been able to find to make the tea. (hopefully) Well made compost (I chose not to use store bought products at all). A 5 liter food grade container (hopefully clean). The...

    Fermented Plant Extract: Borage

Btw, followed your mention of the build a soil site. He says this regarding dry/wet : That sounds right to me - but I don't have enough experience to say it is so. Yeah. This is basically my first posts on this site. Enjoyed talking with you as well. Going to sleep with that picture of the...

    Fermented Plant Extract: Borage

Loving your greenhouse thread. Has that Japanese Peony tree flowered yet? Did the SWICK'in work out for you? I've used cotton (old rag ripped) in a double container for Mj grows when I couldn't get them watered any other way. Seemed to work. I'm still not sure whether I'm better off with the...

    Fermented Plant Extract: Borage

Wow. You were quick to respond to the bell ringing. Thanks for the info. That specific type grows in colder climates but I'm sure I could get it at the nursery if needed. I'm looking forward to this thread. Is it a Marijuana plant that has this potassium deficiency? Btw, for your...

    Fermented Plant Extract: Borage

MedMan, You never got back to Us :) Could you fill us in on "the plant I picked, and the macro and micro nutrients I hope to obtain from this batch". Specifically I was wondering what type of Borage seeds were they. It seems there are quite a few native ones growing in the area where I...
