Using lights at night to speed up flowering

Hello, I am now watching the hairs turn color on the larger plant, not yet on the others. I guess they have their own agendas? I have a microscope for checking the trichomes and will do that soon. I'm still putting them in the dark for 12 hours, all seems well. I have to figure out how to...

Using lights at night to speed up flowering

Do you know anything about preventing cutworms? They're a big problem here. I'm hoping to get them in a mesh tent during the day soon. Hoping that will keep the moths from laying eggs. Last year I had to hand pick the worms as they showed up. I don't like the idea of spraying them, but if...

The type is Blueberry, they're short plants. I just measured the Ph with the probe, and it's at 7 on all of them today. (I also have a clone I got from cutting the top off of one of them). It's just one plant that has the leaf discoloring problem. The only thing different in their treatment...

Using lights at night to speed up flowering

Well we're now starting to flower, but I don't know what kind of feeding schedule they should be on. I gave them a big dose of tiger bloom last week. Maybe too big, since one of the plants has some leaves that are discolored. I flushed it good a couple of times just in case, and I'm removing...

Using lights at night to speed up flowering

Great news, yesterday I was pretty sure there where pre flower buds, and today they all have the hairs coming out.:cheertwo:: So no doubt about it now. How long after this will the buds appear? I'm feeling positive.

OK, I used Tiger Bloom last year, a big success. This year, I thought maybe Tiger Bloom isn't organic, so I switched to Big Bloom which is. I'll get some Tiger Bloom today,, and hope for the best. 3 nights in the shed, no action yet. But they are covered from head to toe with new leaf...

Using lights at night to speed up flowering

You seem to know your stuff, I saw your post on PH meters, I just ordered one. I really need some advice on feeding. My last plant was in the ground, these ones are in pots with Fox Farm potting soil, can't recall the name off hand. I'm using Fox Farm Big Bloom and VF 11. I have no idea what...

Using lights at night to speed up flowering

I put them in last night, hoping for the best. So I'm wondering if the time is off by 30 mins or so, will they notice? It may be difficult to get them in and out at exactly 12 hours. And should I do this for the rest of the grow? Bud rot isn't normaly an issue here. It's pretty dry.

Using lights at night to speed up flowering

Thanks so much, I live inland in northern California. It's really hot here, all summer. I was going to ask if I should keep putting them in the dark once they're blooming. You said a month, but if I continue with it, will it help to speed it along? It's no trouble to move them, they're on a...

Using lights at night to speed up flowering

Unfortunatley they are outside plants. I have read that it's 8-11 weeks from bud to finish. I grew a different strain a year ago, and it was done by the end of Sept. I think I'm going to have change my travel plans. I'm wondering if I can change them at this point to indoor grow.

Using lights at night to speed up flowering

I need to get my plants done by the end of Sept. They haven't started flowering yet, so I'm now looking for a way to speed things up. I have a shed I could put them (2 plants in pots) in at night with lighting, but I don't want to spend a bunch on lights. Does anyone know if this would work...
