Lol. Well, they went until the end of the first week of October. Thanks for input everyone. You too, ZigZag. Overall happy with the harvest. Lost a bit due to moth caterpillars and have a prevention plan using beneficial nematodes, BT, and predator insects like Lacewings next year. I've amended...
The first plant I grew as a teen was a dark brown Thai plant from bag seed. Years passed and the first one I tried was the Afghan-Black Domina from World of Seeds. Wonderful floral sweet scent, easy grow, and potent. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Yes, I am very high right now. Arthritic hip feels great. Harvested, picked and smoked a smaller bud from what's been hanging for 5 days. I only had to eliminate minimal bud from cabbage moth caterpillars. Nice floral, sweet grape-gas taste. This will be better after curing for a month or two...
😄 I have looked at both of those over the years, but looking at the harvest window for both deterred me since I grow outdoors. Both are beautiful strains. Classic, like those fat, spear-shaped buds of chocolate Thai in the 80s.

I've only ever used neem or BT on plants. Spinosad was a preventative for mites in poultry housing. Elanco was the company who first marketed it to the poultry industry if I remember right. I will read more about it's use with crops. In ten years this is the first I have had to use BT or...
The tomato has a smooth skin which is easily rinsed. The bud of a cannabis plant is like a sponge. How much BT, spinosad, pyrethrin, etc. Is being absorbed in that bud even after the bud is washed in water/baking soda/ lemon juice, etc. ? I think it is a question that requires research if there...
I don't like spraying plants I ingest or smoke. I know BT is OMRI certified, and have used it on plants in growing phase, tomatoes I rinse off, but not buds. The label on my BT warns about skin contact and inhaling the product. I may keep lots of cabbage moth traps around, use more predator...
I had to harvest a week earlier than I wanted to due to caterpillars. Lots of research for me to do to prevent problems next year. Good looking plants, BakedARea 😀
