Cannabis Aroma, Taste & Strength, WHEN Does It Arise?

Yes indeed and true re: terps. I am starting a large popcorn cobbing tomorrow. Going to do 24 hours at the highest of the cobbing heats, rather than 48 as I reckon I will have a more aromatic and pleasant cob that way. The longer hot period doesn't make for the taste I am after. It is the...

Cannabis Aroma, Taste & Strength, WHEN Does It Arise?

Thanks both for your replies. I basically agree with all that you have both said. What got me thinking was all the talk about drying and curing temperatures. I figured not all of the glands make it to the consumer intact and so maybe some of the flavour and smell was on the plant in a...

Cannabis Aroma, Taste & Strength, WHEN Does It Arise?

I have posted this elsewhere, but nobody really seemed to know the full answer, do you? I know that the best time to harvest for optimum strength, aroma and taste is supposed to be at the point of peak maturity, once the trichs are as milky as possible and ambering (or maybe just about to) at...

First autos, when to increase par?

@Ash4twenty "This is my first time growing autos , figured it’s time to stop listing to all the bad things people say about them ." That's a wise choice in my opinion. I have grown about 50:50 photos and autos and I love them both. I don't agree with most of the hate autos get. The only...

    What could be causing this?

Cheers dude, yeah totally on air flow. Thanks for the clarification. You never know when it will come in handy and its always better to have someone's experience behind you, even if it isn't your own lol.

    What could be causing this?

I fully understand your reasoning and respect your knowledge on this, so could you answer me this related question? I never spray anyway - so far - but if I did, I'd be worried about spraying with the lights off from a mould / rot perspective as much as I'd worry that spraying with the lights on...

    Hi From The UK

Hi, thanks for the warm welcome and kind words all of you. I'm far from expert, but I've had some good guidance so far and I hope to gain more knowledge here. If I can help anyone else in the process that's a very welcome bonus! @Tokin Roll I don't really make my own soil now as I tried twice...

    Refrigerated dehumidifier fire concerns

Hi Gaz, Great choice, I felt the same. It's worth the extra cash to have one that is safe, cheap to run, drains externally, has a good range of settings, high efficiency I can vouch for and works well down to pretty low temperatures :) I have been coming here every now and again, but hadn't...

    Hi From The UK

Yeah thanks dude, I am as careful as I can be:) Had an interaction in the 90s, don't want another! I will look into Bokashi, I have heard great things about insect Frass, so I will get genned up on that too while I am at it. Thanks for the tip! All the best, Midge

    Hi From The UK

Thanks man :) I'm all organic in soil at the moment. I used EcoThrive's Ecolife soil with Charge and Biosys, which is basically a gentle supersoil, with a ton of mycorhyzzal etc. support. I also augment the grow nutrients with Biobizz Grow, Bloom, Heaven, Top-Max & Calmag (essential for me it...

    Hi From The UK

Sure :) There's a few snaps of the end of the recent Chemdog, Skunk #1 & Cheddar #1 crop, the buds drying, a little hash made from the trimming process, a 'cob' which is a work in progress and a couple of the buds drying before they were jarred up :)
