Any thoughts on Olive oil vs MCT (Expensive in Canada). Any real benefit ?

Is it necessary to decarb before infusing in a slow cooker for 8-10 hours. I have read some conflicting articles. Second question what is the benefit of using MCT oil rather than others (EVOO, etc). I use the oil orally for a medical condition.
