Oh, yeah, and if you do set up a grow as a caregiver - do NOT give a TV crew a tour of your 200+plant grow, like that guy who brought 9News in to his Highlands Ranch hydro setup.
Well, to be honest - I don't really WANT the legislature to keep defining and re-defining the MMJ laws. I think it's better if they leave it as it is; why do you want Colorado to stick their fingers in our business? That's just asking for it, giving more authority to people who are anti-MMJ...
Decided to go with three 600W lights in my 4 x 8 grow tent and a big ol' fan, just like Pit Viper suggested. :yummy: If I get an extra 2 oz from having three 600W lights, then that will pay for itself, right?
Plus - I love the idea of soaking my beautiful plants in light.
I'm working on...
Hemophilia causes extreme joint pain, right? I have a friend who is a physical therapist who works with hemophiliacs - I think you'll be fine with a good MMJ-friendly doc.
I went to Good Earth Wellness in Wheat Ridge, they have a doc there 6-8 pm on Tues/Thurs night. 720-569-4145 or 303...
It's 4 x 8 on the floor, so 32 square feet grow space all together.
My basement is pretty much 55 degrees (winter low) to 75 degrees (summer high). It's unheated, concrete foundation, mostly insulated. We have -10 degree days here in CO and 100 degree days, too. It's crazy, our weather.
I...
Here in Colorado, the state is getting more and more involved in MMJ. There's a bill in our House that would hit dispensaries with a $5000 license fee, a $10000 community study fee, etc etc.
Join NORML or write letters to your state reps. They are the ones who are working on the Oregon laws...
Well if it works out anything like here in Colorado... there will be doctors who will write recs for MMJ. (here they cannot 'prescribe' MJ, they just 'recommend' it).
When I went in to get my MMJ doctor's rec, I paid $125 and it took 3 minutes. I timed it on my cell. There was a HUGE room of...
OK, I am setting up for my first indoor grow, have visited 3 local hydro shops, been to 1,000,000 websites, and read Cervante's bible back and forward.
Typical newbie, yah, I know.
ANYway, here's the tent I'm starting with for veg and flower - I know it's not top of the line stuff, but I'll be...
Wow, never heard of this before. Amazing stuff there.
I like the idea you can recycle/reuse the perlite, too.
The less stuff that I have to throw out, the better. Although I was planning to bring the FF dirt up and out, so I could use it in my tomato and veggie garden...
I would love to try hydro from the get-go. I don't want to have to haul all that Fox Farms up and down my basement stairs (!)
- but it's the $$$, plus I'm a little worried that if I screw up one pH or ppm reading I could kill all my ladies.
I'm thinking that soil is more forgiving for a...
Damn, sorry I missed your online event. I.... kinda.... forgot..... somehow. RoorRip
I'm a noob grower, trying to decide between bubbles and soil. Going to check out your grow journals and such, thanks for doing this - it's a big help here, I'd probably be doing the same thing, setting up 20...
So.... now that it's 4/21, I can concentrate on setting up my first grow.
I hold a MMJ doctor's rec (we sent all the paperwork in to the state yesterday, :smokin:) and so does my better half. So I can have 12 plants growing - legally - here.
I have a few friends who want me to be their...
Yeah, I'm in Colorado - and this Bartkowicz guy is the poster child for What Not To Do When Growing MMJ. And, BTW, he only had paperwork for 3 patients.
The word that comes to my mind when I think about all the levels of stupidity he encompassed is "dip$hit"
