they are from seeds, don't know the strain. I plan on smoking but only because that's what I'm familiar with.

Thanks! yeah it's hard to tell if the trichomes are milky or clear, but I think they are maybe half milky half clear.

Yeah, you can see where the buds are gonna form. Some of those fan leaves look like they're in the way. maybe defoliate a little?
