I don't know exact numbers or equations to estimate photons. But I do know that they get burned when having too much light, then they get yellow-brownish spots on leaves and in my growing history they even sometimes twisted the tip of the leaves. Too much or too less light can also decrease the...
I watched a video form the "Grow Boss" on Youtube explaining the Ratio of Watts in Veg and Bloom and about the Light rotations. Damn this man grows on a 3 light rotation.
I really am questioning on growing on a 2 light rotation, though I know it's better for the outcome there are so many...
From my point of view this doesn't really have the characteristics of a nute burn. No twisted piked leaves, no brown tips of the leaves and very light green color. Looks more like over/underwatering or a deficency.
Thanks for helping me out. I'm just going to create 2 same assembly systems for the LED so when switching from VEG to BLOOM, I'll simply just switch the light systems.
Yes a scrog would definetely do the job in a 50 days VEG cycle. Don't you think 4 plants per 4x4 area would be better than 2...
you definetley need pics, but i can give you a summary.
If the tip of your leaves are getting yellow/brownish and the leave is twisting/curling then you might have used too much fertilizer.
If leaves lose green color and get lighter and lighter until sometimes yellow, it could be a sign of...
I have a question concerning your idea of seperating the 4x8 tent in VEG and BLOOM spaces. If doing so, are 2 extractor fans necessary? Because the PVC should create 2 light isolated areas so my fan would only be hitting one half of the tent? I guess if 2 extractor fans are necessary im going...
The pigtails shouldn't be a problem, as there are enough adapters wich lead into a socket.
Been changing around my composition again due to the lack of lumen. I think I'm going to spend much more than I first intended to. Now I'm about 800€ for my LED setup wich consists of: 16 x CREE CXB3590...
I'm going to have a second tent (4x4) anyways , because of some mothertrees, so I'll have my own clones but with a weak 125W HPS lamp.
I'm going to think about your suggestion with making a Veg/Bloom space.
Thanks for the information, then I will simply change to a 3500K/4000K then to have better results. I heard of those lights and I think if my budget allows me to I will definetely purchase those. I just have to search through the web, because ordering from most american websites charge about 50...
I spent the last 2 hours calculating different builds. I came to the conclusion to grow in a 5x5 Box (150x150cm) instead of the 8x4 (240x120cm), because I think there is no point in having much space available but no light to fill it up.
The solution consists of:
- 2 X HLG185-C1400A (143V...
I think it will survive though it's definiteley going to grow slower for a few days, as it needs to heal and regenerate. You should let nature do its job. As far as i know among many seedlings of mine also couldn't let go of the husk, but I waited with the removal until the first two leaves were...
Damn, I think 160 000 lumens is going to double my budget. When buying 16 CXB3070 I don't think I have enough lumen, because regarding to the product characteristics one COB incorporates 8750 lumen tested at 1900 mA with 128 lm/W. Or is the COB attaining the same lumen anyways even with lowered...
Hey 420Magazine Users,
I'm seeking for an answer from some experienced mates with COB LED Growlights. The thing is I'm going to grow in a 8 x 4 Tent (240cm X 120cm) and I'm not quite sure if my selfmade COB LED setup would be enough for this perticular space.
Are 8 "CXB3070" at 1400 mA...
