Hey Keith and nivek , I tried to mix things up a bit with straight iso and it seems fine, the bugs are on the decline. So far so good, next time I'll add a little pyrethrum to the mix and c that goes.

Isopropyl alcohol and water mixture for spider mite control

Sorry the mix that I made was 50% alcohol . I diluted 99% iOS with water and went to town last night. I'm curious about iOS wash , I heard it mentioned in this thread. From my understanding alcohol evaporates completely.

Isopropyl alcohol and water mixture for spider mite control

Hey nivek I'm in the same situation as u, I'm at week of of flowering and mites are like world war z. I bought predatory mites, but I like a plan B lol. Does the alcohol affect the quality of the buds or does completely evaporate with no after taste left? Thanks

    Spider mite warz

Hey guys it's been awhile since I last posted. I have a spider mite infestation that I'm trying to control with predator mites but they're slow going apparently. My plan b that I read was using rubbing alcohol and water at 1:7 ratio. Is rubbing alcohol a safe choice for spraying on the plants...

357 Magnum LED 2 Purple Kush

true that bro I tried an Magnum + as well and found it under powered. Yes it can probably handle 2 plants but at 1100 for such a limited coverage you can buy 2 HID and or a rail system. I also found that the lower leaves would die off big time the LED but not the HPS. Just my 2 cents.

    Supplemental LEDs

The CSA isn't there for a reason and until they get that stamp I don't think they're worth the inflated prices. The odd thing that's noticed from my local grow shops is that they don't want to carry them LEDs because they too much of a wild card. I wonder what they don't have to not get CSA...

    Most Powerful LED

It's nt that LEDs can't produce it's that they can't perform better than hids and the LEDs advertisements hype the crapxout of them bring better than said hids. I think they still have a ways to come and the prices are unrealalistically to high Like I said in earlier posts my mag plus at 1100...

    Supplemental LEDs

I would thing anything being supplemented with HIDs would benefit pretty good, however did u consider setting up a light mover. Might be cheaper overall. I know i said i have my reservations about LEDs but still willing to take chances just nit with mag or mag plus, but i heard good things...

    Most Powerful LED

good point again but using 4 LEDs in a tent would be the power draw as digital ballast but i know the regular magnums have 180 draw and the plus model has 350 draw, i should test it u never with these guys. i know the next one won't be another magnum. I'm leaning on the black dog models well...
