This thread is not dead my friends.
So much to say about what I did to plants.
Anyway, I pollinated my SSH plants (both happened to be female ;) ) with pollen from Pure Afghani males.
All flowers were pollinated.
Now I'm not sure when is time to harvest my seeds. the little sacks on...
they died most probably because of wind.
the SSH ones are in my mix, doing fine. very healthy grow.
but the Afghanis have weak stems, and their soil mix is a little different from the one I posted earlier.
I mentioned the SSH mix in this thread (the table).
soil mix of the Afghanis is as...
Another two died today, I'm left with the two SSH, and 12 Afghanis.
the funny thing is the ones which were not on rooftop and didn't have to bear the winds, are the recently dead two.
sorry my english sucks a little.
was thinking of making them a small home. like a glassy wall around them, and over them.
like a room.
but since I lost half of my salary in poker this week, that's not gonna happen so soon.
And forgot to mention, I transferred the biggest pot and the buckets (6 seedlings) to sunny place. Natural light ftw.
and the winds around here kill humans let alone my poor seedlings with their already weak stems. today one of them was dead when I checked. the others were leaning on soil...
And here's a few of the Afghani seedlings.
I sowed 17 seeds, 13 popped out of soil.
One week under CFL+LED lights, then I transferred them to bigger pots :
Two got big 10L pots (2.5 gallon pots), one got a 3L pot (0.8 gallon) and the others share pot :
two seedlings in a big 15L pot (~4 gallon)...
yeah, have only used PC so far.
I'll try again tonight (~6 hrs)
I put the larger pots of Afghani seedlings in open air, and direct sunlight.
just read somewhere a little wind will strengthen the stems.
