Thanks. I'll do so.
After a little more research, is it accurate to say that the designation of say 1000w led is an equivalency of 1000w but only consumes whatever the manufacturer produces eg., 240w.
I'm confused. I'm looking at using leds but have power supply restrictions. Some manufacturers advertise that the power consumption is less than the stated power output of light, eg. 600w light only consumes 190w? How can this be so. I have 1900 w available on the circuit I want to use. Can I...
I'm using both right now [have other hps in room ]. Have a few plants started late so under mh to catch up, then switch to full hps when ready to flower. Thanks for the help.
My wife and I applied for our licences Aug. 24/2016 and Sheri got hers in Oct and I got mine a month later. Problem was that they changed the initial application form and included more requirements so we had to reapply, twice!. When we called, they admitted they changed the app and a lot of...
You said a mouthful when you said "tricky indoors". We've been dealing with temp. issues, fungus gnats, cal-mag...I guess this is what it's all about... what a blast. From sneaking a toke now and again to growing my own. I'm in Canada so I'm legal. Imagine that!
Thanks for the reply. Never realised those little lights are so dangerous. Duct tape coming up. One of our hps lights has a green standby light. D you think this could be a problem?
hi everyone...first time here...into our first 12 hr bloom period and curious about whether or not the tiny red "power standby " buttons will interfere during the 12 dark cycle. Growing is fun and interesting but wow! what a learning curve.
Thanks for the support. I researched further and determined that even though LED may be better in some ways, still more expensive than CFL. I'm building my own lights, 52 23 watt cfl 6500k bulbs over six feminized plants. Let you know how it goes. Have to wait to try LEDs.
