I am new to indoor growing, quick question I have a lumatek digital new ballast ( the purple one) 400 watt, I will be running a 400 watt hps globe (Son-ti Agro). Does the ballast or the light use any extra watts Or will my draw power from the wall be 400 watts total?

Okay, I was thinking to put possible 6 plants across, I have a lot of width, and the height is a lot. Would It be best to do a SOG and run the plants across ways back and forth. I cant really come up with any ideas on how I would train them tall and wide, but not deep

For lighting I will have 3 400 watt Pro grow 400x led's from hydroponic hut. They will be spaced across equally divided into the 2.8 meters.

Nice Plant Antics, I have read up on training so I will give it a go, any tips on training width?
