I would suggest looking into long-lasting nutrients too. I think Heavy Harvest is one I've heard growers talk about as being effective. I haven't had a chance (or a place!) to start outdoor growing, but I'm really happy to read these threads and see what I could start doing.
Yes, you want to make sure that the dark cycle is as long as possible. Think about how nature works, and how long night times are.
The goal of indoor growing is to replicate nature as closely as possible.
Uh, I have no idea what you're asking here.
It sounds like some sort of riddle. One that even stoners wouldn't get. LOL
So I did a little online search and found out more about the grow cubes. It doesn't look like it's going to be anything more helpful, IMHO.
I mean, it also talks...
I am highly skeptical of full grow systems. I've done well with full nutrient systems (the Expert System from Advanced Nutrients is a fave of mine), but when someone tries to sell me everything that you need to grow, it sounds like a trick.
Think about it, when you buy a whole system, you're...
I don't know what's going on, but it seems like there are a lot of new growers or people that are new to the site. You need to make sure that you're starting a new post when you have a specific question.
Right now, no one ever goes back to these old postings. I did at one point, which is...
Welll, the first thing you need to do is to go and start a new thread because you're probably not going to get advice from most folks here.
But I'm feeling generous today, so let's go ahead and answer your question.
First thing, if you have yellowing leaves in the first few weeks in soil...
Great and easy advice about AN here.
Really impressive, given what some people will tell you about the nutrients to use.
That said, I can't believe this thread just won't die. It goes to show just how interested people are in the AN lineup, what it is, and how it can help growers. Or...
This is a really good link to use for your problem.
Lowering soil pH - General discussion
Before recommending that a gardener add a material to acidify the soil, make sure the pH is too high and find out why. Perhaps using an acid-forming nitrogen source such as ammonium sulfate or...
Oh, it's only been a few days. Some plants will just take their time in the beginning, and I think you should be a little bit patient.
It looks like things are going well to me. I don't think you need to worry just yet.
Oy - I have no idea what's up, but if i were a betting man, i would say you have some pests.
you need to dive in and see if you can see some creepy crawlies.
yikes, that is a gross looking plant right now, isn't it?
Dr Google helped me with thsi one:
The pH level is much more important in organic soil gardens than in chemical hydroponic gardens. The pH dictates the environment of bacteria necessary to the uptake of organic nutrients.
If using litmus paper, collect soil samples that demonstrate an...
I want you to design my grow room...LOL
This is an amazing drawing. LOVE IT
i don't know what to add. I'm more into the nutes and not the grow room innovation stuff. But I love to watch....LOL
