supergroomer, thanks for that.... I just grabbed a tape and measured... my LEDs were 7 inches above the tops of my potted clones!! They're now right at 18"!! Thanks again. :)

Hi, I started a grow using LEDs to veg for the first time... I was told I had to use cal/mag just because I went from using CFLs for veg and HPS for flower to using LEDs for veg. I've read all kinds of stuff about cal/mag and LEDs for hydro and such but can't find anything about whether I need...

I have a question. Are the five gallon drywall buckets I plan to use big enough when a plant gets to be full sized? Instead of cleaning old ones I went to a local do it yourself store and bought 2 for now. Thank you.

OK, I was told my plan was probably too big for a first time growing. I just figured out that even tho I'm getting 5 seeds and also some free ones, I don't have to plant them all at one time. So I'm just going to try to start two of them when they come. Thanks all of you for the good help.

Antics, Thank you. I would not have known that 2 plants would be enough for one person. I was just guessing at it because I never grew any before and I really don't know how much you get off of one plant. It must be more than I thought.
