I dont mind. I ended up getting rid of the lights without figuring them out. Plus the mods deleted half my post here on this thread.
Learned a lot about LEDs since.
Well I hope your lights serve you well.
I find it best to precharge your coco before using it with cal mag to fill its cation-exchange capacity or CEC. Coco will steal it from your plants until its filled. You will not be likely to see a problem if you do this.
I made a mistake. I thought the PF500 was around 500 bucks. That was the 240 watt at that price.
The only 500 I could find online was 1995$ The makers site does not have them either
This is not mine tent. I use more cobs. He just uses the same chips and spacing I do. I do just as well, I just have not snapped any pictures in flower yet. Google "NapalmD LED" and you will find his journals.
I was checking them out. Looks like the 500 covers a 3x3 area ok. Much better than some that I cant mention. From the video Im seeing on the numbers, they are about 8 inches away. The PAR grids they had still showed all the same prob most commercial ones do. Too much in the middle and not enough...
Thats true. They are spendy to buy but, you can get great deals on chips getting them from Kingbrite and getting them shipped from china.
Instead of looking at watts/dollar. Its better to look at the umols per watt. You will find that your getting more PAR on your plants per dollar. Thats makes...
If you like your HID lighting, Sell your 600 and upgrade it to a double ended 1000 and get a reflector that can spread it evenly as possible. Growershouse has some good data on reflectors.
The panal your talking about buying is not near as good as a HPS.
Thats if ya want big fat buds....
Thats not true. They are also good for keeping a pile of papers from blowing away or water rings from cups on your coffee table. Even discos if your into dancing.
Did you not see the posted PAR patterns? (and still no info on PPFD)
You get what ya pay for... And ya get even more than...
And oh.. High CRi options on the COBS are not better. Cri is how well color is rendered under them to humans. High cree is great if your making videos and pictures under them. The low CRI chips put out more for the plants.
