I felt this USA Today article succinctly stated why ResponsibleOhio's Issue 3 failed. I'm for recreational marijuana legalization but you can't attach it to an oligopoly and expect voters to just eat it.

I'm for Sanders for a lot of reasons but I think that any president will go with the flow on federal legalization. If the country seems in favor, they'll support it. Honestly, I feel like the states are basically making the decision now. If CA legalizes in 2016 and other states quickly follow...
