Hi dude Keep your new light on for 18 hours and chuck the others in the bin LOL Please get hold of some Aqua Vega as it contains silicon as well. Drain out your water every week and add fresh water with nutrients follow these steps and you cant go wrong

I cant comment on soil nutrients because I uses hydro but I get like golden tips on some of my plants but they nether died. Have a look at the cannas range of nutrients and see if they do soil nutrients

no that ok to start with just make sure the light more than 18" away from the plants

If you growing in soil then yer uses any reflective sheeting you can get hold of but if you going to set up a hydro system then paint the walls to start with because humidity it will cause damn between the wall and any sheeting that you uses Rules for grow rooms Have some good ventilation...
