My first thought is to check the ph of both your water and your soil runoff. Both should be between 6.2-6.8. Without pics it's hard to say but my first guess would be ph issues.

I think 55 degrees is too low a temp and that may be causing some of your (now looking bad) problems. Also you said you transplanted? We need better info. How often are you watering? What type of soil are you using? What's the ph of your water? etc etc..... Good luck.

Counties in CA can make their own 'rules" about growing and plant count and it is defaulted to state rules if they don't. The county I live in allow 10 immature and 10 mature plants plus one mother for indoor growing. But in my county you can either grow indoors OR outdoors......but not both...

You're much better off with daylight cfls. The most important meter imho is a ph meter. If you go with drops or strips for soil growing you should be ok there. Those are pretty inexpensive.

We've pretty much changed ours completely around.....I hate those little red buckets inside the bigger ones......root rot problems galore. We switched to 8 inch net pots inside the tan buckets and get much better results. We DO recirculate the system and add extra aereation (sp?) but so far...
