Hi if you are looking for less heat option, the Mars Pro II 160 and Reflector 144 will give less heat; SP 250 and TSL 2000 will be a little hotter. :)

Hi Skunx, you can email us service@mars-hydro.com to get the extention cords. BTW, the heat itself won't influence the lifespan of the light (If the other lights without light case, will be even hotter than this one), and the total temperature in your whole tent should raise around 5~10 degree at most. The heat is also influenced by the summer heat outside the enviroment. If in winter, you will love the light a lot, like now our AU customers, no complaint.
