I've used it for a couple seasons now but those seasons sucked... the sucky season had nothing to do with this product. so I don't have any life changing stories to offer im afraid. I can say it DOES work. I feel its on par with Koolbloom, at a fraction of the price. I was going to use it with a carb. (Mendocino Honey) this time but the planet got shuffled and I couldn't find it. Since you're in soil you could go with Blackstrap molasses. I just followed the recommended dosage. I never saw any burn. Its a dry additive, I think you know that, so it takes some mixing. I just put it in a milk jug and shake the crap out out it, seems a bit easier that stiring, but it still takes time. I use it when I feed, but at 6 weeks you're probably only going to use it for a week or two, depending on your due date. I still use Koolbloom Dry, which isn't the same thing as Koolbloom liquid.

Let me know how you do. You're the only other person I've talked to that has used this product. I like Grow More as a company. They are very highly recommended. They've been around a while. They are very inexpensive, which deserves credit in itself. Ive used a few of their products including Mendo Avalanche. Its a bud hardener. Im still on the fence with this one. I have a sample of some of their dry base which I haven't gotten to yet, but will shortly in my soil area. And, I use their pH Up and Down which are concentrated so they go a long way.

There are a couple additives that I use that I can highly recommend... if you aren't using Silica give it some thought. Look it up and check out check out the laundry list of things it can do for you. It's amazing stuff. The first time I used it I had 2 plants and did 27oz... im not saying that will happen every time. A lot of that was due to great seeds, I kinda got lucky. Silica Blast from Botanicare is a good one. Dont use Armor Si.

Another great additive is fulvic acid. Its a mild extract from humic acid that chelates your nutes making them easier to use. A good one is Fulpower. Check it out

I wish I had more for you. No hero stories or pivitol moments of discovery. The stuff works, but it hasn't changed my life. Good luck

Thanks for the detailed reply, I really appreciate it. I went ahead and added it to my feeding this morning at about 1/2 strength. I just started using Silica after watching a video of a guy that makes his own knock-off "Faux-Tekt" of a branded product. I bought the dry Silica and followed his recipe. No doubt you've seen this on 420 but here it is just in case. Making your own Silica supplement aka Faux-Tekt

I also just started using Molasses. I will definitely check out fulvic acid.

I cut back on the Nitrogen and I'm guessing that's why my leaves are yellowing. I also started dropping temps at night to try and simulate fall/winter coming. I'm supplementing Co2 and am cutting back on that as well.

I've been using Plant Magic occasionally which is a ready to mix compost tea. Instant Compost Tea - Organic Fertilizer | Organic Plant Magic

I don't know how to insert a pic here, but if can tell me how or give me an email address to send to I can do that.

I've never seen that post... interesting. I just added to it

Your leaves turning yellow is what happens when you plant is almost finished... its natural. Its just pulling the last of the nutrients in the leaves. Im surprised you are just now cutting back on the Nitro. I grow hydro usually, so I have to chill on the nitro quite a bit earlier

If you can get you night cold enough youe plants might change color... if your strain really has purple characteristics.

I really want to start using teas. I've only recently considered it... so afraid of turning my res into a cess pool. I'm gonna get into it though.

Did you fix you bug problem?

I've been cutting back on N for a few weeks now. The tea is 6-5-5 and I've been at about 1/3 every other feeding and I also have been using Urban Farms Garden of Eden Extreme Bloom Nutrient between at about 1/3 recommended strength. I've been trying to read the plants as best I can, and at this point I'm hoping I don't screw things up this late in the game.

The last few weeks and whether to flush or not and how to go about that is still something I haven't fully formed an opinion on yet.

I read a review of Plant Magic on Amazon after I had been using it for a while and one of the posters went into detail of how they use Plant Magic along with Crystal Burst and Hula Bloom. This is how I found out about Hula. I did some researching around and from what I could find it seemed to be a safe way to go.

This is my first grow and I'm still figuring a lot of things out.

Your plants look great, you're right to just let them go, and not push the nutes right now. If you made a mistake and locked up some nutes your flower cycle may completely shop. Nitrogen is renowned for this. From this season you'll learn a lot about future plants and nutrient tolerance. Unfortunately, no two seeds are alike, so it may take a while to get used to this. Even in the same strain. Im growing 5 Wembley right now, a sister to King Tut. I have 1 plant that is ultra strong and, growing fast. I have 2 that are growing normal, and 1 that puts out giant leaves, branches as thick as a finger, but the damn thing is SO slow.... I have another in soil that is just moving along but is more like a sativa. It doesnt have a lot of indica traits like the others. You will find that seeds as a whole differ immensely.

Flushing is one of those things that everyone has an opinion on. Some flush for 7 days, others 3. Some use products like Clearex which is supposed to break down salts... ive used it and don't see a difference. I flush, in hydro for 2 days max... you just don't need to do any more in DWC. In soil, I do it for a few days, but when I flush I will run at least 5 gallons through the soil to REALLY get the salts moving.
*disclaimer* I use Fox Farm Ocean Forrest soil. Its open enough that I know in a few minutes the water will run through. If your soil is tight or leaves a pool of water on top for a few minutes dont use a lot of water when you flush, and go longer, you could drown your plant.

Everyone has a favorite nutrient. I started with a super common product called the General Hydroponic Flora Series, or some call it the trio. Its a clean nutrient, its cheap, a gallon is $20 or less, but there are 3 parts to it. Ive tried others, but i came back. Again, you plants look great. Those buds are gonna rock for a first attempt! Good job!

There's a lot to it. If you study growing and ask a bunch of questions you will do very well. If you stick to soil read up on making your own soil... this by itself is a topic you can spend years on. Hydro isn't quite like that, but theres a lot to it too.

I'd like to learn about growing hydro. One question I have is are your plants stuck in that spot, or can you take them out to inspect or move them around? I understand the concept but haven't spent any time looking at setups.

Wow, flushing for days straight sounds exhausting! Watering my girls every 3-5 days is a lot of work, but I'll do whatever needs to be done.

So yesterday was the end of week 6 since I flipped to 12/12. What are your thoughts with feeding from here on out?

Btw, thank you for taking the time respond in such detail to me, I really appreciate the time you're taking here.
