Best Supplements/Fertilizers

I'm still deciding between hydro and soil, but the more info I get on hydro the more awesome it sounds. I haven't been able to find a whole lot on fertilizers and supplements for hydroponic systems though. For the soil grows i've done i've always used Hesi products, and i've had pretty good success. What do you guys use, and why?
