Uh, isn't the point of rehyrdrating your bud to make it moist again??
If it's too moist, then just dry it out again.

i wouldnt nuke it but that my 2 cent. Um but i would do that paper towels . How did u rehydreate it?

Microwaving can cause the smoke to be harsh when you smoke it.
Leave it out over a lightly blowing air vent, or under an open window (of course making sure that it's not going to run away on you). In a pinch, you can use your oven... but make sure that the temperature doesn't exceed 175F. And WATCH IT.
