im going to set up my walk in closet as a kinda veg room for my sprouted seedlings i was thinking of putting 40-50 sprouts in there in rockwool cubes like 3 weeks before my plants harvest and continue that every cycle My question is what size cfls to i use and how many for pretty good growth also can i run the lights 24 hrs and what nuts should i soak the cubes in



P.s i know i should maybe run hid light in there but i already have 3 1000 watt hps in the flower room and im scared about the eletric bill

Go with a t5 fixture A couple 2 ft x 6 or 8 bulb fixtures or 1 4ft fixture. Multiple small ones gives you flexibility in raising an lowering to the plants needs.

t 5 isa newer typwe of flouroesent gives more light per watt than older shop lights type needs new t5 ballast and holders so you can't just switch bulbs all veg room you could use all blue leds with flouros are you using the whole floorspace for small plasnts or just part of it
