Does my plant have a deficiency? Multiple symptoms. Pics Included

Hey everyone! I’m currently on day 13 of my grow. My 3 plants are looking good overall, but I’ve got some concerns with the leaves and I’m hoping to get some advice on what all of you think. (All the pictures are from the same plant).

Symptom 1: Very slight clawing of a leaf. I don’t know what the correct term is, but it’s the middle finger of my two largest three finger leafs. It could be normal, but I just want to be sure.

Sympton 2: The coloring overall looks...oily. I think that’s the best way to describe it. If you look at the two one finger leaves at the bottom of the plant, they are like a normal green color. Above that, it just looks shiny/oily.

Symptom 3: One of the leaves is turned a little like a corkscrew. Just a little bit. It’s one of the bottom one finger leaves.

Note: I just watered the plants today after 4 days of no watering so I’m thinking that why some leaves are drooping a little.

Thanks again!

When you watered was the soil completely dry, was the pot very light to pick up?
Four days ago was the first time I completely watered the soil and this is my first grow, so I’m not entirely sure...but I do believe all of the water was out. The pot was very light to pick up compared to the last four days.

That’s good. Thought maybe over watering but keep at it like that and it will grow no problem.

I think it is just a genetic trait to that plant. No biggy.

You’ve got a little bit of taco or canoe up in some top leaves, can mean heat or light stress. Try to wait anorher 4 days before you water again. Look for slight leaf wilt then give small drink, dribble or spray water on outside edges. She builds roots when soil is totally dry. Have you read Emilya’s water articles? Twisted leaves or waxy leaves can be mites, do you have a scope or jewelers loupe look under leaves? Twisted leaves could be genetics. If new grower then mites not likely unless you have other plants, pets or do yardwork then come inside - not sure if that applies.

I’m just spitballing - hope something helps

I just recently (like within the past 5 days or so) lowered my grow light a big distance from 34 to 20 inches. Maybe that could be the cause of the taco/canoe? My plants were growing really slowly and I had a lot of suggestions saying my grow light is too far away. After lowering, I got a lot more growth. Maybe I’ll raise it back up a few inches.

As far as the mites, I don’t have any pets and I have someone that does my yard work for me. My grow is also inside my house and inside of a grow tent.

I just recently got Emilya’s watering technique post and I followed it this time. I watered the center first and then watered the circumference of the pot.
