Federal authorities say they've seized 156 pounds of marijuana valued at about $626,000 in a Chicago-bound shipment of frozen vegetables in Detroit. U.S. Customs and Border Protection says the drugs were found Friday at the Fort Street cargo facility.

Authorities say a 62-year old Canadian man arrived at the cargo facility with a shipment destined for Chicago. It had a routine enforcement check including an X-ray, and officials say the scan found 134 packages of marijuana mixed within the shipment. The driver was arrested and turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The commercial truck and marijuana were seized.
