Tues. July 28, 2009
7:00 pm

CU Campus, Boulder Colorado
UMC 247

This talk is free and open to the public.

When Colorado's Medical Marijuana Law passed in 2000, medical use of cannabis became a Constitutional right in Colorado. However patients and caregivers are still being prosecuted almost 10 years later. What can patients and caregivers do to protect themselves? How can law enforcement be educated to protect patient rights?

Jason Lauve is one of those patients being prosecuted. Come hear his story and show your support. Rob Corry, Jason's attorney and Colorado medical marijuana legal expert, will also be there to discuss the all the legal aspects of Colorado's medical cannabis law. Bring your questions!

Speakers:

Rob Corry, medical cannabis attorney
Jason Lauve, medical cannabis patient
Timothy Tipton, patient advocate, Rocky Mountain Caregivers Cooperative

Sponsored by the Colorado 420 Coalition and NORML@CU
