4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
(notice the number 420 here...this has deep meaning)
The next direct reference to kaneh-bos appears in Isaiah, where God is reprimanding the Israelites for, among other things, not supplying him with his due of the Holy Herb. YOU HAVE NOT BROUGHT ANY KANEH FOR ME, OR LAVISHED ON ME THE FAT OF YOUR SACRIFICES. BUT YOU HAVE BURDENED ME WITH YOUR SINS AND WEARIED ME WITH YOUR OFFENSES. ISAIAH 43:23-24
