How does a computer dummy post pics from the gallery to my journal?

How does a computer dummy post pics from the gallery, to my journal ? I mean, i can operate 2 million$ pieces of equip, but I'm lost here, since you switched to your new format. This is costing memberships, people are just quiting. I don't want to quit, I made friends here, and 1/2 of them are gone. Can someone explain what's going on, or it that a secret also?

Just above the area where you typed in your post are a bunch of icons. If you've got pictures in your gallery, they will appear when you click on the little camera icon. When you scroll over it it says "Gallery embed".



If you are posting a reply to this look right above where you are typing. You'll see all the little icons.
