Before our 6 pm phone bank on the The FAIR Education Act and Queer Women in History, local activist and organizer Eugene Davidovich, of San Diego Americans for Safe Access (ASA), will be joining a panel on cannabis reform. Joey of Canvass for a Cause (CFAC) will join him in discussing patients' rights and the importance of medical cannabis. Rachel Scoma, attorney and Field Director of Prop 19 in San Diego, will also be present on the panel.
Why now? Because CFAC will be teaming up with ASA to gather signatures for an Imperial Beach ballot initiative - moving patients' rights in the right direction by overturning the city's ban and replacing it with reasonable regulations! We need your support in the campaign, and the first step to winning is educating ourselves!
