Strain Name: Mendo-berry
From: Caregiver
When: Sept. 2010
Grade: A-
Type: Hybrid
Price: $100/quarter oz.
Looks: Light to Medium green with some orange-red hairs.
Smell: Strong berry scent
Taste: Not harsh, yet not real smooth, but full of berry flavor on the inhale more so than the exhale.
Buzz Type: Mainly cerebral...very trippy/floaty feeling - but no sedative qualities at all - more upbeat.
Buzz Length: Long – the buzz lasted for 2+ hours.
Best Medicinal Use: Visual creativity, outdoor activities (walks, hiking, etc), and deep thought.
Overall: I first tried this out one afternoon by the pool and was amazed at the cerebral buzz and fruity/berry flavor. Floating around on the raft allowed me to take in all the sights, sounds, and smells - all of which seemed more intense, which is typical of other Mendo strains (Headband, Madness, Purps, etc). I went to see Avatar (yes, I ponied up for the 3D) and REALLY enjoyed the experience. Due to the trippy feel, this was not as much a “social” high, as I tended to be more introspective and philosophical.
