Tickets for the weekend event are $499.The conference is aimed at growers, dispensary owners and others in the marijuana industry.

Organizers said they are still finalizing speakers for the event, billed as the "first of its kind."One of the organizers, Debby Goldsberry, said the goal of the event is "to provide essential business training to entrepreneurs, bringing together representatives from every major sector of this emerging industry to teach these skills."Other organizers include Anthony Johnson, director of New Approach Oregon, which is pushing for a marijuana legalization measure for the fall ballot, and Alex Rogers, an Ashland businessman who owns medical marijuana clinics. Rogers organized two marijuana industry conferences, one in Ashland and the other in Eugene, earlier this year.
