The state Senate is back in session and could address the House's bill legalizing medical marijuana.

The bill won approval in the state House last month after nine months of waiting.

If the bill is passed, Governor Wolf said he will sign it.

Hundreds of parents across the Midstate are hoping once the bill becomes law, their children can have access to the medication.

On Monday, State Rep. Mike Regan, who supports the bill's passage, stopped by Daybreak to discuss the anticipated timeline and the reason for the delay. Chris and Angela Ferro of York County also appeared on Daybreak to discuss how they believe the medication can help their son, Michael. Watch the videos to see both of their interviews.
