if you use 1 gallon air pots to start your plants and latter transplant into larger air pots, will the roots that were air pruned begin to grow again. does useing this methed cause stagnation or stunting of your plants in any way or would it be better to start directly into your larger pots?

Always start in the largest pot imaginable. This reduces stress and allows for unrestricted growth.
