A friend threw some seeds he was given into a 12" ceramic pot of potting soil, put it in a glass window box above a sink (2x3x4) where it received 8-10 hours of sun each day and was watered every 2-4 days. I have to use the term " hacked off "branches because apparently it was groomed with scissors and the main trunk was " cut off " to make the plant spread - his words. But it was really because it was too tall for the window box. I couldn't stand to see it that way. After entering house, several times and being impailed by the delicious scent (which the whole family had grown accustomed to so they could not tell) I had to save it but it was in ok shape. I have 2x2x4 grow tent with a Spider Farmer 1000d light. I hope the photos attached show progress over 1 month of care. Just light love water light grooming, molasses (1/8 tsp per 1 1/2 cups every 3 days at 2-3.5 week time frame, 48 hours of dark before harvest. (I did not want to stress the plant further so I did not remove any of the smaller buds and it was well into flowering so...)The branches got so heavy that I had to support them (chop stick with string mcgyver style). I hope the pics can help some one identify what I have here - I have no idea. Pairing the wonderful smell with the photo I had forgotten how beautiful these buds can be which has prompted me to grow again after 25 yrs. The last pic is my favorite, white, snowy, glistening - is there a Frosty the snowman strain? Thanks for reading any help identifying this strain would be great. the plant was only 12x 12 x 18". FYI - he gave me a bunch of (I dont know how old) seeds, out of 20+ planted only 1 has germinated....sad but true.
