Whats the best strains to grow outdoor?

Hello fello growers i am out in the ie right now in socal. Wanted to know your opinions on what are the best strains to grow outdoors.
Second question is what is a good strain to grow indoors, would be my first time growin inside, plan to set up my 150 gallon aquarium to start growing inside so i need plants that would stay relatively shorter than others. Let me know of what you think would be a perfect strain for my set up.

some of the best indoor is serious seeds.
just search google.
they are a bit pricey but worth it.
