how gabapentin affect drug test

i started taking a drug called gabapentin. in the effect/drug interaction section it said this med will interfear with drug testing. it'll show a high level of protien. i called piss test lab & review officer said he couldnt tell me what it did because i'd use it to cheat. i'm trying to find out what it does, does it cover up or show up possitive for something in particular, like pot?! i can only hope
