yes, tacking is what we call it place about 1/4 grain of rice on finger kinda flat and then place on lower gums below root line - apply pressure while doing a slight circular or side to side motion with finger in 30-60 second increments (depends on individual). remove finger and observe where the remaining oil has moved and then reapply next to the first tacking location using the same method until mostly gone. some find it helpful to dry the gum area with a wash cloth or towel first, some prefer to rinse with cold water and warm the oil on the fingertip with a hair dryer on low, and as the tacking spots build it gets easier to make it stick over time. see page 17 of the dosing tutorial which is linked in my signature for pic of oil on finger flattened out.
