The Basics Of Plant Lighting

Howdy,
This is actually my first post here.
I am using some 300w LEDs and you do need to keep them farther then you might think. True the actual heat is lower but the leds specific wavelengths can cause chemicals in the leaves to toast while others are not affected (effected?) leaving edge burns.
I switched from hid/hps to the LEDs and have been amazed with my results.
I am just into my third grow but the difference is noticible. The flowers are much denser with more tricomes with the LEDs.
Anyway, babble mood over.

It could be the lighting change, LEDs are intense lights. Much more powerful than CFLs.
